FARMYARD

AN INDEPENDENT RESTAURANT AND NATURAL WINE BAR in chichester

We are a restaurant, wine bar and wine shop set on the first floor of The Ghost At The Feast food hall in Chichester. We serve seasonal dishes using locally-sourced ingredients alongside natural and low intervention wines.

We’re also making our own very small batch wine downstairs, but that’s another story...

BOOK A TABLE

We are open 7 days a week. Join us for lunch or dinner Monday to Saturday, or for our Roasts on a Sunday lunchtime.

OUR FOOD

We work with local farms, producers and suppliers to source the best ingredients around. Think great organic meats and superb steaks, the freshest fish and seafood, oysters, creative plant-based dishes that change with the seasons, cured meats and fantastic local cheeses. Plus our fantastic family-style Sunday Roasts served each week.

OUR WINES

We pour wines which are natural and biodynamic, grown organically and produced in a more sustainable way than conventional wines. Some are wild and wacky, others are classic and refined, all are delicious for what they are and crafted with love and care. Drink our wines in, or take away at shop price.

OUR STORY

Farmyard is founded and run by Chichester locals Kate and Ben O’Norum. The couple met in London while working in journalism before heading to the East Sussex coast to open a wine bar - Farmyard in St Leonards-on-Sea. They have since moved back to Chichester and this is Farmyard the second.

A few of our menu highlights across the week…

WEEKDAY LUNCHES

On weekdays we offer our lunch deal. Three Small Plates + A Glass of Wine for £18.50. Choose any three from our selection of six which change daily to assemble a delicious and varied lunch. Get a selection for the table and tuck in - or enjoy your own trio of plates.

GROUP FEASTING MENU

If you’re dining in a group of 8 or more, you can enjoy our Feasting Menu. A veritable feast of sharing dishes and small plates brought out in wave after wave, a constant flow of food, just as the chefs would recommend you enjoy it - all for for £35 a head.

It offers a lot of variety, a sense of feasting decadence and great value too – plus there’s no faffing around with annoying pre-orders and naff set menus. You can just book in, tell us your top-level preferences, relax and let us cook you up a storm.

SUNDAY ROASTS

On Sundays we roast. Top quality meats from local farms form a centrepiece, with roasties, Yorkies and all the trimmings washed down with bottomless red wine gravy. All served family-style. Plant-based options are no afterthought and we have all the extras, from oysters and nibbles to decadent Sunday puds.
